Phyllis was born in Ripponden West Yorks 25th October 1954. She was a wonderful, beautiful, intelligent woman who loved life to the full. She was well liked by everyone who met her and she made friends easily. We met at a dance on the 8th August 1969 (the Summer of '69)We became engaged 17/12/71 and were married on 6th April 1974. Due to a promotion at my work we moved from Dumfries to Leyland in Lancs the day after we were married we lived in Leyland for 11 years during which time we met and became friends with many wonderful people.During this period Phyllis worked for NORWEB until the birth of our first daughter Lindsey 11th april 1977 On the 18th december 1979 our second daughter Michelle arrived and we felt as if our family was complete. We moved to Gretna in July 1985 again we met many wonderful people and our time there was very contented during this time Phyll worked for ASDA. Then in August 1989 we moved to Warrington where we have settled getting to know and become friends with many acquaintances and colleagues, during this period Phyllis worked for ASDA and then The Envoironment Agency She was a very popular member of staff at both places and she made many good friends this was bourne out by the number of cards and contributions received in her memory. We were blessed with two beautiful intelligent daughters Lindsey and Michelle who have made us both very proud.I was priveleged to have been married to Phyllis who was the best wife and mother we could wish for.We were reaching the most settled period in our lives, with the girls grown up and settled, we were making such great plans and looking forward to so much fun together when on Satutday 22nd November 2008 whilst getting ready for a Christmas party which we were attending with our good friends Joan and Dave, Phyll was tragically and very suddenly taken from us.Our lives are so empty without this wonderful woman.
