Phyll's father David died at 6.15am Sunday 16th August 2009, he was a great man and is much missed, since the death of Phyllis he had become very depressed and could not understand why she had been taken so young, Phyllis loved him very much as well as her mum. Phyll travelled to Dumfries fortnightly to ensure that they were both well and whilst there carried out little chores for them to help make their lives easier. I feel that David died partly from a broken heart at the loss of his daughter.
